CONFAST® 316 Stainless Steel Wedge Anchors

USES
• The CONFAST® (three one six) 316 Stainless Steel Wedge Anchor is designed for use in atmospheres where water and chemicals are present.
• (three one six) 316 stainless steel wedge anchor can be used areas that range from in and around swimming pools to sluice gates and aeration tanks at waste water treatment facilities
• Each box of CONFAST® (three one six) 316 Stainless Steel Wedge Anchor is packaged with the proper number and size of (three one six) 316 stainless steel nuts and washers.

INSTALLATION
• The CONFAST® (three one six) 316 Stainless Steel Wedge Anchor can be used only in solid concrete, and should never be used in base materials such as brick or block.
• The diameter of hole to be drilled in the concrete for the CONFAST® (three one six) 316 Stainless Steel Wedge Anchor is equal to the diameter of the anchor being installed. For example, a 1/2” hole requires the use of a 1/2” diameter carbide bit.
• The carbide bit must meet ANSI standards and must be used in a hammer drill set in the hammer and rotation mode.

HOLDING STRENGTH
• The holding values in concrete of the CONFAST® (three one six) 316 Stainless Steel Wedge Anchor is determined by the diameter of the anchor and the depth of embedment.
• To meet obtain minimum holding values, each diameter has a minimum embedment depth into which the CONFAST® (three one six) 316 Stainless Steel Wedge Anchor must be installed.

SIZES
• The CONFAST® (three one six) 316 Stainless Steel Wedge Anchor comes in a wide range of diameters ranging from 1/4” to 1-1/4” and in lengths ranging from 1-3/4” to 12”.
• To determine the length of (three one six) 316 stainless steel CONFAST® wedge anchor required for a specific job, add the thickness of the material being fastened to the minimum embedment depth for the diameter of anchor being used plus the thickness of the nut and washer. The sum provides the minimum anchor length for the application.
