Installation Video
Installing a 3/4" Machine Screw Anchor
  1. Drill a 1-1/4" hole into the concrete using a carbide-tipped bit that meets ANSI Standards B212.15.
  2. The depth of the hole can be deeper or equal to the minimum embedment depth of 2-1/4" which is equal to the length of the anchor .
  3. Clean the hole with a wire brush, vacuum, compressed air, or a blow-out bulb.
  4. Insert the anchor into the hole with the threaded cone end first.
  5. Take the correct 3/4" Machine Screw Anchor setting tool and insert the smaller diameter end into the open end of the 3/4" Machine Screw Anchor.
  6. Strike the end of the setting tool with a hammer until the anchor is fully set.
  7. The 3/4" Machine Screw Anchor is now set. A 3/4" diameter bolt can be inserted into the 3/4" Machine Screw Anchor with a maximum torque of 20 ft. lbs.
  8. Always use proper personal protective equipment per manufacturer's and OSHA instructions.
